Something that I've been working on for a while now that has finally come together. I created and rendered the model in CINEMA 4D R14, and created and rendered the scenery in Vue 11 Infinite. The separate renders were then composited in Photoshop. The marble is completely procedural, created from noise shaders in CINEMA 4D, so each marble block has a unique texture, just like real marble!
Camera Animation The video is in full 1080p (1920 x 1080) HD, however, you may need to change the playback settings to get it to play at full HD. Check out the camera animation on deviantART film here: and also on YouTube here: Animation on YouTube,

Technical Notes: Model created and rendered in CINEMA 4D R14, scenery created and rendered in Vue 11 Infinite. Composited in Photoshop.
I'd be even more impressed if there was not a dissolve from one animation to another halfway through. That's a standard technique in live-action cinema, made necessary by the limitations of the medium, but in computer animation it should be possible to avoid it.
